Writer, Mentor, Mexico Specialist.

I love the written word, I always have. Communicating is my passion, building bridges through words to bring stories to life. The challenge of finding just the right words to describe an experience, a feeling, an emotion is what makes me tick. I love to take ideas and solidify them in the written word.

I am a Mexico specialist and I have written extensively about the country. The founder of award-winning blog Mexico Retold, I used it to share positive stories about Mexico, the country I live in and the country where my heart resides.

My work has been published by BBC Travel, Condé Nast Traveler, CNN, The Independent and AFAR among others. As of September 2022, I no longer take commissions.

My first love is fiction and I am currently querying agents with my contemporary novel set in Mexico City.

I offer mentoring packages for new and established writers. I feel passionate about using my almost decade-long experience to provide support for others who love to write.

I share my reflections on writing and the writing life in my monthly newsletter Write As You Are.
